Story
In the past, there was a league that tested the strength and tenacity of people, both of body and spirit, via dueling and battles that swept across the land.
Time had passed and now at year 20XX, we had entered the modern age. But the rules of the land had changed over the years; the test of skills that the league has thrived on where prohibited and abandoned and those who are caught were punished severely by the law.
However, there had been accounts that someone has been mysteriously trying to revive the said practice, enticing people to test their strength and wills, in aims to be the best and the strongest in exchange of something more....
There were stories in the past about a group--- an organization that holds battles and duels to test the strength of the people it foresees. This has enticed many to join in the power struggle and gauge their skills to gain everything that they wanted:
Pride, fame, fortune and power.
However, not everyone were in favour of its ways and not long after, a mutiny sparked and was led by one of its most influential members. This made the people to question the organization's rule and sovereignty, and caused a decline in support from the populace. Until eventually... slowly the group died out and disappeared without a trace.
Centuries had passed, and now comes the modern age of technology. Japan has thrived and had become a super power at this trade. People's way of living.. and the people themselves have changed. But, the primitive power struggle has not disappeared throughout the years.
Year 20XX. A sudden increased of cases that involved violence swept through Japan... and unlike the usual gang wars and fights, they seemed to be more organized. And here, traces and hints of uprising and attempts of reviving the practice long forgotten years and years ago are found. And a huge concentration of activities are reported in Tokyo.
However...
it's just a urban legend--- a rumour.... right?
No one knows.
Welcome to Tokyo Under.
